Isaac's First Birthday Sneak Peek
Isaac came in for his first birthday photos ready to rock with our jungle theme and little touches to give it a Hawaiian vibe. He did so great for all this outfit changes, trying cake for the first time, and ending with a bath - it’s tough work taking pictures when you’re just a little guy! But he rocked each part and I enjoyed spending time with his family for such special photos.
We started with out jungle background and his parents brought in some of Isaac’s favorite toys to help him get situated in the new space. They also had a fun grab toy and some tiny yellow Crocs that we kept in for our Hawaiian feel - I just loved the Crocs so much we used them again later for the bath!
Isaac played and gave us a few sneaky smiles, but really opened up when his parents sat with him to play with the toys and blocks. He passed out blocks and was giddy to have them on the floor with him.
We then captured a few more family portraits with both parents and the three of them together against my white background so they have a great mix of casual portraits and more formal.
Then it was cake time! Isaac changed into an adorable baby suit with bow tie and he looked so handsome! He had loved the white curved chair from earlier so we tried it again and got our best smiles yet. He wasn’t a fan of the actual cake part of the cake smash, but he entertained the idea of poking around and tasting, to which he said yuck.
We ended with a splash bath to let Issac play and really end on a positive note. He was such a quite little dude. but he had a great time in the water sorting toys, holding ducks, and giving a few splashes toward the end.
Overall a super successful first birthday session for Isaac and I wish him the happiest birthday and that he loves cake the next time it comes around!
