Aziel's Newborn Sneak Peek

This sweet little guy was a last minute addition to my schedule but he was a perfect little model during his newborn session. He was already a month old, having come super early, and was still about 5 pounds. But he slept like a champ and even was able to do our curly poses so we had lots of fun with props and themes for him.

Aziel was still so tiny when he came in for his pictures. His mom had a few special props she wanted photographed like a little Spider-Man lovey, a Santa hat, and a amazing crocheted doll with a fox on his shirt. I also had fun bringing out a few fall items like a pumpkin hat and pumpkins as we worked through different things for his photos.

I wasn’t sure how he would be since he was past the normal age for newborn pictures and many times I have to focus on wrapped images. But Aziel was a trooper and slept the entire time, plus didn’t mind being on his tummy or on his back. That meant we were not only able to get pictures on the moon prop but also in the bucket, which we decked out with fun fall pumpkins.

He also was so adorable wrapped up in the orange fuzzy swaddle and fox bonnet that was the perfect match to the doll. It would be so fun for the family to take monthly pictures with that same lovey as he was barely the same size as it at this age and could be a fun comparison over his first year.

We finished with snuggly poses on the beanbag and he was able to do a few quick ones with the swing prop before starting to stir. Overall he was a dream baby for his age and I had a wonderful time getting to capture sure precious memories for his family.
