Callum's Newborn Sneak Peek

It was such a joy to finally meet sweet Callum after meeting his parents earlier this year for maternity pictures. He was such a tiny little guy and a fabulous sleeper. He originally needed a few extra days before our session to make sure his jaundice levels were going down, but he was a great model when he came into the studio and was ready for his big photo debut.

Callum’s parents opted for blues and tans during his session, which is always so fun to get to prep for a little boy. He was a perfect fit up on the twig bed and was nice and relaxed which always helps adjust those tiny fingers or dangling feet.

He also was so adorable in the overall romper that I snagged a few quick pictures of him in the heart bowl. I didn’t want to change him out of that adorable outfit without photographing the front first and Callum was nice and snug in there and continued to snooze away.

We got several pictures with his parents, including some of their hands tucked under Callum’s feet (always a favorite of mine!). Then it was time to unwrap him and capture his cute baby features on the beanbag.

I was able to move along all through the tan color before he decided he was hungry, which is always ok when a baby needs to stop and eat. Then he was adorably awake so I grabbed a few last images with his eyes open on our last blue fabric before we were done.

Callum truly was such a fun little guy to photograph and I so enjoyed getting to meet him and visit with his parents again. Welcome to the world, little guy!
