Mason's Newborn Sneak Peek

I was so excited to get to see this family again, this time to celebrate their new little boy, Mason. He was just perfect during his newborn session, snoozing away completely happy in the warm quiet room. Plus his big brother did a fabulous job during his sibling pictures so we captured some great photos of the brothers together and the entire family!

After visiting with his moms on colors and props, we decided to do a different styled session than big brother. This time around we did tans and greens which were the perfect shades for Mason. His brother even sat next to him while snuggled on the twig bed and I caught a semi sneaky smile.

We were able to take lots of great family pictures among just the sibling pics, and my favorite was a backlit photo of the four of them together all looking at the new baby. It’s becoming a new favorite to incorporate the older siblings into this sweet moment.

Mason then was truly and deeply asleep after being swaddled, and I was able to play with his tiny fingers and toes to make them just right for all his bean bag images. I don’t think he even minded being on his back or tummy - he was just a happy baby!

I ended with the very special chin in hands pose, which we did for older brother. I make sure that babies are always truly comfortable with this and are deeply asleep, and Mason made those series of images look easy.

Overall it was such a joy to see this family again and catch up on how big older brother has grown and to celebrate the new baby. I hope to see you all soon as Mason grows and changes over this next year!
