Kai's Holiday Baby Sneak Peek

It was such fun to see Kai and his family again, this time to take fun holiday photos! He was still a happy little guy who didn’t mind us trying different baskets and ways to help him sit up, and he was adorable in all his holiday attire. Plus I got to bring out my giant cocoa cup!

Kai had a cute little plaid vest and pants for his gingerbread pictures. He wasn’t quite ready to sit up on the cedar sled yet, so we improvised and used my bumbo chair instead. He loved that chair and was a perfect fit, so that ended up being our “go-to” seat for him for most of his session.

He also showed off his tummy time skills and liked rolling around on the floor. He didn’t mind holding ornaments or peppermint trees either, and was truly just fine with anything we gave him as long as mom and dad were close by.

We also put him inside my giant cocoa cup and since he needed a little sitting support, we were able to fit the bumbo in the cup. He wasn’t too interested in any of the marshmallows but he did try to eat the soft blanket.

We finished our session with my blue snowflake background and Kai had a snuggly little sweat suit for his outfit. He was fascinated by the ornaments by now, so we swapped it out for a giant candy cane and let him kick around on the blanket and try to lick it.

It’s such fun to get to capture baby’s first holiday memories and Kai was a perfect little model. I can’t wait to see him again soon for his next official set of baby milestone photos!
