Kai's 3 Month Baby Milestone

Kai was such a happy little guy when he came in for the first of his baby milestone sessions! He is just about 3 months old and was full of curiosity and smiles, and did a great job showing off his tummy time skills.

We did two different set ups for Kai for these special pictures. I just got a brand new fall type autumn harvest background and it was perfectly paired with pumpkins and fall leaves just for Kai. He was able to sit for a few minutes in the baby chair and then hold his head up for tummy time, but I also loved the overheads we got. He happily kicked around while we changed out leaves or had his parents kneel down and hold his feet in their hands, and Kai enjoyed all the attention. Plus how can you beat such a snuggly outfit!

Our second set of pictures was with the hot air balloon and airplane scene, and Kai had a great little blue and green outfit to coordinate. He was getting more tired from all the hard work holding up his head but was able to still do a few quick pictures on his belly and then also in a basket with pillows.

Finally I had the honor of photographing him in his traditional Korean 100 days outfit. These special outfits commemorate a baby’s 100th day of life, and Kai let us grab a few last minute photos in his traditional clothing before he was tucked out.

It was such a great first session with Kai and his family, and I’m so excited that I’ll get to see him regularly over this next year. He was such a happy guy which always makes for a fun session.
