Ryder's Newborn Sneak Peek

Ryder was snuggly little dude during his newborn photo debut. I loved pulling out the cream and tan props and adding in touches of olive and sage green. Plus his dad is currently serving in the Marines and we were able to capture a few special images with dad’s dress cap and in a tiny Marines dress blues uniform.

We started with my larger props as Ryder was super asleep when he arrived. Since it’s important for babies to be asleep for the twig bed and bucket poses, we were able to capture several great photos of Ryder with various hats and pants.

His mom had requested neutral colors in cream and brown, but liked adding in some green as her husband is serving in the military. I had fun arranging my greenery around Ryder as he was tucked in the heart bowl and then also of Ryder wrapped in his dad’s cammies.

Then they showed me that they’d brought in both a Marines newborn dress blues outfit and dad’s official dress blues hat. So, of course, I had to capture a few of their precious baby boy in those and Ryder did such a great job cooperating as we got him resting his chin on the brim of his dad’s hat.

A huge congrats to this family on your sweet little boy! I so enjoyed being part of these special memories and preserving this time for your family.
