Oliver and Desmond's Wild First Birthday Sneak Peek

Desmond and Oliver celebrated their first birthday in style with a Where The Wild Things Are theme, cake smash, and smiles all around. They had the most adorable little crowns and outfits plus ties for their cake, and the twins had fun eating all my puffs while sitting and crawling around the studio, then thoroughly enjoying their cakes and even sampling each others to make sure they tasted the same.

The last I saw these brothers they were so tiny, barely sitting and mostly enjoying tummy time! This time around we all had to be quick on our toes as they wanted to explore the studio. We were able to capture lots of special moments of them together in their Wild Things outfits, plus some of each boy individually. I quickly noticed that one was more quiet than the other, but I did manage sneaky smiles from both.

We did a quick minor change to the background for their cake smash to update the theme, and the boys had cute little ties to wear while eating their bunt cakes. Since the food was all theirs, we had no trouble keeping them in one spot now, as they devoured the cake and enjoyed the frosting.

A few times the boys even tasted the other’s cake, and then happily went back to their own. In the end it was a wonderful time with everyone laughing and enjoying the brother’s antics as they celebrated such a special birthday.
