Rayan's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Rayan was another fast and happy little one year old for his first birthday pictures! He truly was constantly on the move but wearing a giant grin the entire time. And we were still able to capture awesome family pictures and then some of him trying some delicious cake.

We did our family photos first, and Rayan was a natural by looking at the camera and getting pictures with his parents and older brother. And we, of course, had to get some with just mom and just dad, because, as she put it, we moms are always the ones taking the pictures instead of in them! (SO true!)

Then we brought out the rubber ducky background and Rayan had to be captured in my metal tub so we could snag a photo of his awesome smile without running after him too much. But he was a rockstar especially on the white toddler chair, laughing and cheering, making so many awesome faces everyone was laughing.

We ended with a gorgeous cake smash, and Rayan couldn’t decide if he liked it or didn’t like getting messy. He gave it a fair change, eating a little and trying the frosting, but then ultimately decided it was much more fun to run around. We gave him back his favorite chair to sit next to the cake, then let older brother in on the fun, and even he said he preferred a spoon to eat the cake.

A very happy first birthday to this happy little guy! I hope you find a cake you love and your brother gets his spoon so everyone can celebrate such a festive occasion. Either way, I know you’ll keep wearing that awesome smile.
