Duncan's 6 Month Baby Milestone Session

Duncan was one sweet little guy for his big 6 month baby milestone photos. It took him just a minute to adjust to the new scene and the big light, but then he was a happy baby who babbled and smiled for mom. Plus he seemed to truly love tummy time, so we captured lots of great smiles of him on the floor.

This sitter stage is always such a fun age when babies have a little personality, love smiling for mom, and are happy to either sit or lay on their backs. Duncan is one of the few babies I’ve met who seemed happiest during tummy time, and he was great either supported by a pillow or just on a soft blanket flat on the floor.

Duncan could sit unassisted for brief stints, but we wanted to make sure he had some pillow or boppy behind him in case he toppled over. He also loved laying on his back curled up in the boppy where he could reach his toes and smile up at his mommy.

He was truly so happy that we were able to sneak in a few extra props and pictures at the very end. One was him sitting in a clear tub, and then again a quick few in the big white chair. Duncan will be coming back in a few months time for his first birthday pictures and it will be so fun to see how he still fits or doesn’t in those props to show how much he’s grown.
