Benjamin's Newborn Sneak Peek

Benjamin came a little earlier than expected, but we was a perfect little guy for his big newborn photo session. He really liked to be on his back or swaddled, but was still super snuggly at letting us capture pictures on his tummy or in a few of the bigger props.

I met Benjamin’s family at my holiday mini sessions a few years ago. This couple is so sweet, and I was thrilled to get to meet their new baby boy and be part of capturing these special memories.

We did a session with blue and grey colors and green accents, and Benjamin was a great sleeper at letting us swap out hats or wraps during his pictures. He also was such a trooper with both the twig bed and the bucket, as I learned quickly he much prefers to be on his back. Plus he had ticklish feet so I made sure to do transitions quickly!

His parents also had brought a few special items they wanted photographed, one being a Duke Blue Devils hat. Having lived in North Carolina for three years, I know how fun those college traditions are for Duke and it was fun to get to incorporate that sweet knit hat into an image for mom and dad.

We also captured a few fall themed images with a pumpkin hat and set. Those are always so fun to create this time of year with my green wrap and heart bowl, and I think Benjamin made for one cute little pumpkin.

A huge congratulations to this family on your new baby! I so enjoyed getting to see you again and be part of such special memories of Benjamin.
