Dridh’s First Birthday Sneak Peek

Dridh is celebrating the big one year birthday! This little guy had the cutest outfits to go with several different backgrounds, yet I think it’s safe to say he mostly just loved the glowing lamp and the splash bath at the end.

Dridh’s parents had requested 3 awesome backgrounds for their son to celebrate his first birthday. We started with a brand new one I got last summer, yet due to all the mailing delays in 2020, it missed several of the babies it was intented for and had never been photographed!

I’m so glad Dridh got a chance to try it out, and his coordinating watermelon outfit was adorable with it. He tried rolling the red pick up truck around, yet firmly decided that the red lantern was best and we got some smiles when it was pulled out. Plus, he picked at the real watermelon his parents had brought as he sat in the curved white chair.

For his cake smash, we used the rustic camping background and Dridh had a cute little bow tie and jacket to match. He really wasn’t a fan of the cake, which is true for lots of other babies who come in for their cake smashes. Yet he once again liked the lantern and did poke at the icing topper for a bit (before deciding he’d rather not be messy!)

After the cake, his parents added on the splash bath and I’m so glad they did as that’s when Dridh really had fun! He smiled and splashed and had the best time. It was wonderful to end on such a happy note.
