Jack's Simply Kids Sneak Peek

I got to spend another beautiful evening with a sweet little boy and his family. The last time I saw Jack it was for his second birthday with studio photos, and now he’s a big five year old! We talked all things outdoors and starting kindergarten, and it was so fun to get to see him and the family again after they’ve been living in Hawaii for the past few years.

We started with the all important family photo while baby sister was in a happy mood, and we had some beautiful light coming through the trees and what I call “model wind” for mom. Then Jack and I did some beautiful golden hour photos in the trees and even snagged a few with him holding his baby sister.

Jack and I then walked around to various places, stopping at the circle stones as that’s always a great spot especially for kids. We then got a few on the bridge when I just asked him to relax and lean forward, we ended up with some of my favorite images.

We ended with Jack showing me his silly faces, moves, and high jumps, before our sunset family photos once again. It was truly a joy to see him and his family - it’s hard to believe how much Jack has grown up and that he’s now a big brother! Cheers to being five, buddy, and I know you’ll rock kindergarten in the fall!
