Jack's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Jack came into the studio this week to celebrate his very first birthday with special photos. We kept it simple and focused on him and his sweet smile, plus a few pinecones and toy cars to help him have fun. He did a fabulous job wearing all the little hats and overall was just a joy to spend time with.

Jack’s parents opted to do multiple outfits and backgrounds instead of a cake smash or splash bath. Jack had an adorable plaid shirt and suspenders for his first outfit, and he had fun ripping the hat off shortly after we’d put it on his head. I sure had to be fast to snag a few in there with him actually WEARING the hat.

He also loved the little wooden cars we brought out to entice him to stay in one location. He’d scoot in a circle playing with the cars and overall just was very focused on the task of moving them around on the floor.

We were able to get a few quick family pictures and some with just Jack and his mom and dad before moving to his second outfit. I tried to see if he’d be interested in the lantern with lights inside, but he was way more impressed with the basket of pinecones. Eventually he put a few in the basket after poking at them for a few minutes.

A very happy first birthday to you, Jack! I hope you have a wonderful party and get to eat lots of yummy cake!
