Emily's Winter Maternity Sneak Peek

Let me start this sneak peek by saying how very special it is to get to share these photos. This couple has bene with me for over three years, and I’ve photographed their first maternity session, their son’s newborn pictures, baptism, and more family memories. I am so honored to be part of this next chapter in their lives as they prepare to welcome a baby girl in the coming months.

Since we’ve photographed many of the same places, Emily opted to try a new location at the Hudson Gardens across town for these maternity photos. I think the drive is completely worth it, even in winter! The ice and minimal snow around was beautiful and it lent to a great holiday, winter vibe.

We incorporated lots of family photos, too, with their older son and then just the couple. Their son did a great job and I know how hard it can be as a parent to get kids to participate and interact during an hour of family photos. We also sneaked some of just him and dad while mom changed to her second gown.

The gorgeous green dress was perfect against the red barn, and the whole session felt like Christmas with the colors the family chose for their photos. Emily was stunning in every location we stopped, and it sure made it hard to narrow down images for a gallery much less this sneak peek!

I can’t wait to see this family again soon when they welcome their daughter! In a way I feel like part of the family and am so excited to meet her.
