Lyn-Kew Winter Family Sneak Peek

This family is special to me for many reasons, one of which is they have become good friends of mine since moving to Denver 6 years ago. They also were one of my first families when I started my photography business and I’ve watched their kids grow so much over the past few years. It seems fitting to end 2020 with a sneak peek for this awesome family who have done so much over this extraordinary year.

I’d heard all the kids were now the same height with the youngest, in fact, being slightly taller than her older siblings. It was fun to capture this moment as I’m sure the two younger ones will continue to grow and family pictures even a year from now will look so much different. They were all such great sports at getting together and hugging in the snow!

We also got photos of just the parents, which is always a favorite of mine to include in a session. So many times we parents are not in photos at all, or it’s just one of us as the other is behind the camera. It’s obvious this couple truly loves each other after many years of marriage and I loved getting to capture that for them.

After spending some time at the gorgeous water location, which was frozen over and had just the right amount of snow, we headed to catch the sunset. We had great views of clouds just over the mountains and we ended with beautiful winter colors with photos of the entire family.

A big thanks to braving the cold for these new family pictures! I had a fun in the snow and seeing you all again as you were gathered for the holidays. Cheers to ending 2020 on a high note and ringing in a new year filled with hope.
