Tachibana Fall Family Sneak Peek
This family hit the golden fall jackpot for their family session the other day. The leaves in this area are just ablaze with red and yellow color and they even had a cool smoky sunset to boot! I last worked with just the oldest daughter for her senior pictures a few years ago, and it was so fun to meet the rest of the family and capture some updated family pictures for mom.
We made a quick random stop along this one neighborhood street as it had a wall of gorgeous yellow trees making for some awesome pictures. We took some of the full group, then just the girls and finally the twins. I couldn’t get over how beautiful the spot was, and I kept telling them that so many families try to pick just that right fall date and they ended up with it this year.
Then we headed over to the more rustic outdoor spot where we’d taken senior photos. Mom loved the spot so much she wanted some with the whole family this time, and we had a lot of fun walking around to the bridge, wooden door, and of course, the sunset. We even recreated a few images from when the kids were little next to the “Welcome to Colorado” sign. The sunset was different as we couldn’t see the mountains, but it was really neat to be able to photograph the sun due to all the smoke. I joked they each have a photo to hang in their rooms and above the fireplace, but honestly I think they have so many wonderful images it will be hard to pick just a few for those prized wall spots!
A big thank you to this family for an evening of fun and for trusting me with these new family photos! It was great to see you again!
