Lily & Autumn's Twin Girl Newborn Sneak Peek
These sweet girls were born back in September and have been in the NICU for the past several weeks. They were finally discharged and home, and I’m so glad the family was able to come in for newborn pictures this past weekend.
Lily and Autumn were both still very tiny and they perfectly curled up and slept during their session. Their mom mentioned that they did Lily’s side of the nursery in pink and Autumn’s side in purple, so I coordinated the session with those colors. In fact, I kept Lily with pinks the entire time, so she was always the one in the pink wrap or wearing a pink headband. I also did her solo bean bag pictures on the blush colored fabric. Then the reverse was true of Autumn for her accessories, as she stayed with the purples and plums and had her individual photos taken on the purple fabric.
I’m also glad I had my husband to assist me to make sure the girls didn’t overheat and to be my resident “baby spotter”. He always sat nearby to make sure they were ok in props and baskets so that one didn’t startle the other and both babies stayed safe.
Overall the session was a dream and the girls were both amazing sleepers and truly settled in and relaxed whenever they were close together. I can tell their older sister is a big helper and that the whole family works as a team on behalf of these new babies. A big thanks to the family for trusting me with these special images and capturing new memories of your family of 5.
