Gediminas Splash Bath Sneak Peek

Meet little Gediminas, who is just about to celebrate his very first birthday! He was such a treat earlier this weekend and I had so much fun with his special milestone session and splash bath.

Gediminas took a minute to warm up to the idea of taking pictures, but who can blame him when there’s a big light and a stranger in a new room. He did end up liking the flash and it was funny how he’d watch it go off for a few photos then would look at me. He really liked the metal tub I recently added to my collection and he kept sticking just his toes over the side so I quickly grabbed a few photos of them above the wooden letters spelling out ONE.

The splash bath was where his big smiles finally came out! At first he was intrigued that his toes were sticking out of the water but since the water was opaque, he couldn’t find them when they were under the water. Then he got into the splashing and laughing and it was pure joy to watch him have fun. I also set up a new blue boy themed background that I’ve been holding onto, and I love how it looked for the special first birthday splash.

A very happy first birthday to you, little man! And a big thanks to your parents for sharing you with me for an afternoon for such special photos.
