Hannah & Kevin Engagement Session
This past weekend, I had the privilege of photographing an engagement session for Hannah, who was one of my very first clients back when I started my business. Hannah had remembered me from her family session several years before, and now she is engaged! I got to spend my Friday evening with her and her fiance, Kevin, taking some cute engagement photos for them to share the happy news with friends and family. Then afterwards, I further had the honor to photograph their official engagement party at her parents house.
We first met at a local park, Silo Park, for the engagement session. They wanted to include their sweet puppy, who was just adorable! The puppy did so well and I was truly impressed. Then Hannah had different props she’d ordered and selected to use for save-the-date cards and announcements, plus these super fun masquerade masks! The couple is getting married on Halloween next year on October 31st, so they are debating incorporating these masks into their wedding. My vote is do it as it was just so incredibly unique and fun. I can’t wait to share some fun photos I captured just for a unique Spotlight Canvas!
The session ended with a champagne explosion. It was absolutely hysterical, and we missed it the first time, I got soaked the second time along with Kevin, and the photos I snagged are priceless. I wasn’t sure I’d gotten any good ones with how it all went down, but there are definitely some keepers and some amazing faces!
The last part of my evening was spent at their engagement party, complete with taco truck and lots of friends and family gathered to celebrate with the happy couple. I mean how cool is that! And check out these awesome photos of them eating tacos and tater tots! I even got to partake in tacos (which were outstanding!), try their delicious spring fling cake, and see where one of my past photos from their family session hangs off their kitchen. It was a truly wonderful evening and I wish Hannah and Kevin all the best as you embark on your next chapter together! Thanks for including me in these amazing memories.
