Cole Extended Family Sneak Peek

This lovely extended family is all in town for the weekend to relax and enjoy time together. The grandparents are also celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary (huge congratulations!) and their kids wanted to surprise them with a gift of updated family portraits with all the kids and grandkids. What a wonderful way to surprise them, especially as someone put it, the last time they all had family photos was at someone's wedding!

The cousins were just adorable and I can tell they so love being together and playing. The girls also had several ideas of where and how to pose, and of course, act like a princess. They even wanted to continue taking photos after we were done since they had more ideas. I've had the privilege of photographing one of the families over the last year to document the pregnancy and first year of their son's baby milestones. It was a true joy to see them again now with the whole family and notice how much the kids have grown! 

I'm so thankful we weren't rained out for their session, although we did have a few sprinkles at one point. We seemed to have lucked on out on the wind and rain and were able to get all the important family, sibling, and cousin photos to truly preserve these special memories. Enjoy the rest of your family time here in Colorado!
