Prom Sneak Peek

I had the opportunity this past weekend to photograph two high school couples on their very special prom night. The two young men have been friends since the third grade and now are high school juniors attending their first prom. What a special treat for me to preserve these memories for the young couples and their parents, who were overjoyed to be able to lavish their kids with such a special photography session.

Having just celebrated my oldest child's sixth birthday last week, it's quite an eye opener to photograph a prom and realize how quickly time flies. Six seems like nothing compared to seeing your kids embark on such a teenage milestone! I'm sure these parents feel the same way I do about how quickly kids grow up. 

We met out at the barn in Parker to get some unique prom photos, and I love how they turned out! Their glam was such a fun contrast to the rustic country setting, and we had a beautiful afternoon to be outside. The clouds were gorgeous behind the windmills and we squeezed in our session right before a rain storm. 

A huge thanks to these families for sharing your special evening with me and allowing me to capture this milestone for you. I hope to see you all again down the road!
