Baby It's Cold Outside: Cocoa For Charity Event, December 2nd and 3rd
I'm excited to announce I will be hosting a special event this year called Cocoa For Charity. This will be a fun mini-session event just in time for the holiday season and benefiting a wonderful, local organization, Aurora Warms the Night.
Join me on either December 2nd or 3rd in the afternoon for fun holiday photos of your children at my Hot Chocolate Cart. There will be tasty cookies, treats, and, of course, hot chocolate! I can't wait to capture fun memories of your kids as they explore the delicious goodies at my hot chocolate stand while sipping on a mug of hot cocoa. Afterwards, all are welcome to mingle with other attendees and have a mug of cocoa yourself! Times will run from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM on both dates so check early to get your perfect spot.
100% of the session price will be donated to a wonderful local charity, Aurora Warms the Night. Per their website, "Aurora Warms the Night shelters those experiencing homelessness in the winter when temperatures reach 20 degrees or colder. Year round services include meals, warm clothing, hygiene items, transportation to shelter, laundry vouchers, bus passes, partner agency referrals, and advocacy. We operate these services in order to ensure families and individuals meet their most basic needs, learn new skills, and access resources to transition out of homelessness. " For me, I can't imagine being homeless in the cold in Denver, especially when the wind picks up and the temperatures drop below freezing. I know my family is blessed with so many things, including shelter and instant heat. I'm excited to gift this special organization with extra funds during this chilly time of year to truly help those who need it most.
Aside from a fun-filled afternoon, each attendee receives a photo from their session framed in a keepsake 3x3 ornament from Organic Bloom, my gorgeous preferred vendor for frames. These are just stunning in person and a truly gorgeous element to add to your tree or even gift to a family member.
