Pikas Family Sneak Peek
We had a gorgeous evening last night for this family's session at the 17 Mile House and Barn in Parker. It wasn't cold, there was no wind, and we had a beautiful sunset with evening light.
I had a blast hanging out with this family and especially these two middle school boys. I feel like I was taking a peek into my future with three boys of my own! They had awesome goofy smiles but knew how to flash a true grin just for mom. I love getting to play little games and such so everyone gets a chance to be silly, serious, fun, and happy. And these boys did just that! Then I loved the genuine interactions with each other. You can tell they are good buddies and share a lot of laughs.
We tried out a different area of the field for the end of the session as the path was roped off for a festival later. But it worked so well to get the family walking with their dogs and all the yellow foliage still on the trees in the background. And of course we ended with just mom and dad together. Always a treat to snap a few of just the couple who I bet aren't usually in photos alone very often.
A huge thanks to this wonderful family for hanging out with me and sharing your energy and laughs. It was an honor getting to preserve these memories for you.
