Meet sweet little Natalia, who has a very special story. She is already a month old and is here in Denver awaiting heart surgery with her parents, who traveled from Albuquerque, New Mexico. They’ve been living at the Ronald McDonald house so they can attend all Natalia’s doctor appointments and such, and wanted to get some newborn photos of their beautiful little girl while she is still tiny.

She took one break mid-way to eat, looked around a few minutes, and then went right back to sleep. Arya was just 6 days “new”, and at the perfect age to curl up and tuck her toes underneath her tummy and fit in my metal bucket…

She was completely asleep when she arrived, having driven to my studio from close to Boulder! What an honor to be selected as her newborn photographer and to have her family come all the way to me for her newborn session.
Read MoreAnother precious newborn girl was in the studio this weekend! Sweet Annika made her photography debut and her mom had lots of gorgeous requests for her little girl. She wanted lots of girly pinks and purples, and she sent me several photos of props she wanted to incorporate. I’m so glad we were able to work in all the props as I typically do a few less set ups, but Annika was a trooper and her gallery is just beautiful.
