Weekly Post: Received Holiday Card Ideas

I've been blogging quite a bit this weekend with client sneak peeks so I wanted to change it up a bit today for this week's post. Last week I shared on my Facebook page some neat ideas I came across for using your printed photos to create a DIY Christmas/Holiday countdown. I loved the idea of printing your photos and displaying them in your home and it was a huge bonus to find a craft that created something useful and special with the photos.

This week I wanted to again focus on practical things we can do with our photos but with a timely dilemma I face each year: what do you do with all the holiday cards you receive? It's about the time for our mailbox to be filled with letters and updates from our friends and fmaily around the country and each year I've tried to actually display the cards in some practical way. Last year we organized them on our buffet but the kids loved to pick them up and look at them, thus knocking down more cards in the process. This year I want to do something different but it has to be easy! So I took to Pinterest to find some ideas.

Success! I think I'll go for the cards hanging on ribbon, myself, but there were lots of other great and creative ideas. Check out my Pinterest board "Inspire: Winter Holiday" that is featured at the top of my Pinterest page to see what I found. And send me some pins if you find something else you love! I'd love to see more of what you do with your own personal holiday cards.
