It was so wonderful to see this family again to capture Lukas’s 6 month baby milestone pictures! He has grown so much since our newborn session, and it’s hard to believe it’s been 2 years since big brother’s first photos with me, too. Lukas did a fabulous job during his session, getting a little tired at the end, but we were able to photograph so many sweet smiles and lots of updated family pictures.

Lukas is now a whole 6 months old and his mom wanted to keep his backgrounds simple for his new photos for his milestone session. In fact, she chose to match the same settings we used for older brother and it was fun to pull up his photos and take a trip down memory lane in order to recreate the same scenes.

Lukas and his entire family started with their coordinating cultural outfits and we were sure to get some sibling pictures along with the images of just Lukas. He was fully sitting independently and was enjoyed holding a few props and sitting in the circular basket. He also showed off his tummy time skills, which may be the final time we get that particular pic as he will likely not enjoy that after he starts crawling and walking!

We also were able to capture many family portraits as his grandparents were also present. We did various groupings and then more with just him and his parents - big brother was so patient as we swapped out people and he even let me get a few extras with him, too!

After a final outfit change, Lukas was close to his nap time but truly was a trooper for a few final pictures. He wanted something to hold so we just rolled with it and allowedhim to keep a few blocks or beads in his little fists and were able to still get several adorable pics of him in his handsome suspenders and hat.

It was truly such a delight to get so see this family again! I so look forward to our next session to celebrate Lukas when he turns one, and for now enjoy this adorable little dude at six months!
