Jaxon is now a whole 2 years old and came back for some updated photos with him and his parents. He’s now a busy little toddler with tons of personality shining through, and he kept us all on our toes during his session with his curiosity. But gosh is he not cute! And I think we came away with pictures that truly capture this little guy’s energy and age.

Jaxon had an adorable sailor outfit for his first set of pictures to celebrate his dad making captain in the Navy. He also had some special heirloom bears that we incorporated into a few pictures, while Jaxon’s main focus was on building with the blocks.

He also loved the curved chair and, like all toddlers, wanted to side saddle sit on it. His parents turned on his favorite songs and he danced and closed his eyes and showed off his best dance moves, and I love that we captured some of his various silly expressions.

We also spent some extra time on family pictures with his mom and dad, and Jaxon was great as long as he had a car in each hand. We got some great family photos of everyone together and I love the ones where his parents smooshed him in the middle with kisses!

We ended with one final background since Jaxon was now in a red polo, and we let him play with the cars and sort them into a container, and then try sitting in his two favorite chairs one last time. Plus we got the best bonus pic of his parents snuggling him on the chair right at the very end!

It was so wonderful to see this family again and how much Jaxon has grown in the last year. Watching these babies turn into kids is one the best perks of the job!
