This sweet girl was in the studio last week for a 6 month baby milestone session. I had the honor of photographing her older brother for his milestones a few years back, and it was so wonderful to see her mom again and now photograph Romy’s 6 month pictures.

Romy’s mom wanted to keep things simple like we had with her oldest son, so I pulled out similar blankets and props that we’d used before to coordinate between the siblings. Romy wasn’t quite sitting up independently yet, so I also had pillows on hand to help support her as well as my bumbo chair.

Romy was all smiles for her pictures and was such a happy girl during her entire session! She rocked at all the tummy time pictures and it was such fun to simply spread a blanket on the ground and let her do her thing! She laughed and pushed way up, give us her very best smiles.

She also did one of my favorite baby moves -she would grab her toes and feet when we lay her on her back. I remembered her brother also did that during his milestone session, so it was really fun to capture that same type of picture for Romy.

We finished with a few quick tummy time pics and then let Romy show off one more time in the big white chair. She loved the vantage point and I bet she’s not too far away from truly being able to sit in that chair without any supports.

I look forward to seeing Romy and her family again come time for her first birthday - until then enjoy all these sweet baby smiles!
