What a joy to get to meet sweet Liam when he was barely a day old! I met with his parents at Parker Adventist Hospital for these incredibly special photos just a few days ago, and loved getting a few tiny newborn snuggles as well as capturing these first moments for the couple as brand new parents.

Liam was a big guy at well over 8 pounds, but that also means he has the cutest chubby cheeks and newborn baby rolls. He was very happy in his room and his parents had him ready and swaddled in a blanket that had been gifted to them with a precious “Peter Rabbit” on the edge.

We captured pictures of Liam in the basinet and with his hospital bracelets on his ankle along with tiny details like his hands holding his parent’s finger. Then we had both parents hold their sweet baby and we got several of both mom and baby, dad and baby, and the whole family together.

The couple also had a little announcement sign with his name and birth stats along with tiny knit ice skates as they are hockey fans. I had fun incorporating those into several photos along with capturing close ups of his face.

Dana’s mom arrived right at the end which was perfect timing for us to get a few of her as a brand new grandmother. And one of my favorites was her with her 3 daughters all huddled around the new little baby boy.

It’s always such an honor to be invited into a sacred time for new parents and I loved getting to meet this sweet little boy. I look forward to our next photo session where Liam gets to come to the studio for his big newborn picture debut!
