Hazel came into the studio with her family to celebrate her very first birthday in style with a sparkly photo session and strawberries galore! I absolutely love this berry first birthday theme, and Hazel rocked it with her adorable fluffy skirts, strawberry crown, and a slash bath.

We started with a very simple set up with my white background to show off sweet Hazel in her pretty pink berry dress. She loved the pearl beads and as long as she had those to play with she was happy! She let us change out props and chairs, and I think her favorites were when we swapped out the beads for strawberries and she got to have a snack during the rest of her photos.

Big sister was super helpful in getting Hazel’s attention or making her laugh, and she gave the best hug for a special sibling photo. We also made sure to capture updated family photos and I love how everyone coordinated with the strawberry theme for all their shirts and dresses.

Then we switched over to a splash bath with loads of strawberries in the water. Hazel loved getting to eat them, splash in the tub, and otherwise just was completely enjoying her time in the spotlight. The berry lights were fun additions to add and move around with the reflected water, and Hazel was in her zone at the end with huge smiles and splashes.
