This sweet little guy came into the studio for his big baby milestone session and to show off his sitting skills. Ignacio was truly a happy baby, and we got lots of smiles during his pictures, both of just him and with his parents.

Ignacio’s family was gifted a baby session last year via a relative, and it was so nice to finally put faces to emails and meet this little guy. I love this age when baby’s start to sit independently and interact with those around them. And Ignacio loved finding his parents faces and giving them big smiles.

He also was closer to 7 months old which mean his sitter skills were quite good, but we still opted to have a pillow behind him just in case he toppled backwards. Always better to be safe and help reduce any tears!

I had fun pulling out several baskets and a crate for him to sit inside, and we added in his teddy bear lovey and a handmade blanket to give some personal touches. Ignacio didn’t care where he sat and we were able to move though several different props before switching outfits.

We got several family photo, too, with his mom and dad, and then a special one of his little tushie while snuggled with mom. That time passes so quickly before baby’s start to lose their bellies and chunk, so it was a lot of fun to get to capture that special memory for his mom.

We ended with a final outfit with suspenders and Ignacio gave more smiles during some tummy time and sitting in my big white chair. He made it all look so easy and it was truly a joy to get to spend some time with him and his family.
