Abigail's Senior Sneak Peek
Abigail and her family met with me bright and early this last weekend for photos downtown at the Denver Botanic Gardens. We had a perfect morning there for photos with cool weather to start and lots of beautiful flowers at their peek right at the start of the fall season. Abigail was a trooper walking all over the gardens with me and I loved her two outfits for capturing her senior pictures.
We started off with a great family picture of her and her sisters before the gardens got more crowded after opening. We had the first few areas all to ourselves as people slowly entered for the day. We passed several weddings and their guests happening and maneuvered around those closed off areas, but there was so much to see even with those off limits we had our pick of gorgeous flowers and beautiful scenery.
Her first outfit was a more casual look with jeans and a pink shirt and it was a great match for our first locations, especially around this one office building with a huge green door and ivy growing up the walls. We also had nooks of flowers and some water features along the way before she opted to change into her long dress and white cowgirl boots.
Her second outfit was perfect for the gardens as it went so well with the stone in the area, the changing trees, and I always love a great set of boots! We spent some time in the Japanese garden with all the bonsai trees, bridges, and other trees around the area that were starting to turn yellow.
We searched for a while for the perfect purple flowers and finally found some on our slow walk toward the exit. That plus the great rocks made for neat places for Abigail to sit and we even found a quiet area for another family photo with her wearing the dress.
Overall it was truly a great session where we not only got to enjoy a beautiful morning at the gardens, but we captured tons of great senior pictures!
