Remember that one, truly cool fall day we had last week in between the 85+ degree days? That was the day for Dominik’s senior session and we both thoroughly enjoyed the cooler weather and beautiful evening while out taking his senior pictures. Dominik and I had a great time walking around the clubhouse and utilizing his cowboy hat and boots for senior pics and even had the most perfect sunset.

Having grown up in Dallas, I love a great set of cowboy boots and a real, authentic cowboy hat. So when Dominik had both for his session I was excited! It was such fun to try different angles with his hat and capture some unique senior pics for him that showed off his style and personality.

The fall colors hadn’t fully come to the area yet, but we had the golden hour light and big pine trees and other stone features around the clubhouse that made for a great Colorado backdrop. We got several options for his yearbook photo and then had fun with his hat both being worn and held.

After a quick outfit change, Dominik was ready to walk around the large open grassy area in his white pants and shirt. That combined with the sunset made for awesome photos and my favorite was the silhouette type pic we took with his hat while he looked off to the side.

We also walked down the field to the large windmill, because with boots and a hat it was just a must. The tall grass was perfect against the setting sun and I think we ended our time with some truly epic pictures.

I so enjoyed getting to visit with Dominik about his art graphics classes and plans for the future. I wish him the best on his senior year of high school and in all that lies ahead!
