Kelsey's Maternity Sneak Peek

It was so wonderful to see this family again, now as they are expecting their second baby in the next month! We had a beautiful afternoon for Kelsey’s maternity and family pictures at the Hudson Gardens, and even in winter we lucked out with gorgeous winter skies and temperatures that weren’t too cold.

Their older son was still so young the last I saw him for newborn and holiday photos. Now he’s a true toddler with shaky steps and opinions on everything. Yet I have to say he rocked our time outdoors and did some great family pictures with mom and dad. He even snuggled with mom’s belly for a few which was such a special moment.

Kelsey had everyone in a rust colored orange for her first set of photos. It was a great compliment to our winter landscape. We were able to walk the first part of the gardens and get photos by the rose trellis and the big red barn.

There was an awesome tunnel lights that was set up for their evening light event. But it was the perfect backdrop for some fun pictures with the white lights all around us against the white winter sky.

Then Kelsey had a pink dress with a small train. We had fun getting more photos in the light tunnel then proceeded around the lake as the sunset peeked over the mountains. I got to put all my train arranging skills to the test, and we had fun walking around and fluffing it around her feet.

I do think some of my favorite photos, thought, are when we walked into the tall native grasses area and had the great fog in the background. A huge congrats to this family on the new little one and I can’t wait to see them all again soon when baby is here!
