Noah was one happy baby in the studio to celebrate his first birthday! He was all smiles, loved the props and chairs, and thoroughly enjoyed his cake. It was such a fun session with lots of laughter over his little mannerisms and I’m excited to share this little peek into such a happy dude.

Noah’s mom had picked the blue balloon background which is always a favorite for little boys. Noah got to sit in my baskets and toddler chairs, and even got a few photos with his older sister. She was also a great sport at letting Noah have the spotlight for the morning, which I know can be so hard when it’s someone else birthday.

After a few photos, though, Noah realized the studio wasn’t such a strange place and he became very comfortable with crawling around and trying to escape. Thank goodness for toy bribes and his quick mom to help us capture him before diving into the cake smash part of our session.

Noah seemed to really enjoy his cake, too, and took handfuls with both hands to eat both the frosting and cake. His sister so wanted a bit and was so patient on waiting her turn as he really went to town on his sweet treat. He also danced and laughed, clapped, and overall just had the best time with his smash cake.

His sister kept watching for Noah to try to crawl away so she’d get her turn at the cake and after filing up on cake, he realized he could come offer me a bite. I always love those quick crawling photos as that’s the true nature of this age - crawling everywhere, into everything, and loving food!
