Jacey was a perfect little model during her big newborn photo session last week! She had the best full head of hair and I loved how we needed to style it or brush it as we swapped out headbands. Plus we were able to capture some great family photos with mom and dad and even a quick nap or two with her older brother!

We started off with my larger props as those are perfect when babies arrive and they are super asleep. She snoozed away on the twig bed while dad spotter here and we even got her older brother to come sit next to the scene or peek over the top. Which if you have had toddlers know that’s no easy feat!

She also was a perfect fit inside the hot air balloon and let me switch out headbands or even remove parts of the prop so we had some basket-type images as well.

After some gorgeous family images of Jacey wrapped in a soft blue fabric, I changed the wrap style a bit and tucked her into the heart bowl. She was truly relaxed and let me adjust her fingers and add in some blue flowers.

We ended with my bean bag flow of poses and she truly sleep the entire time. She didn’t mind being on her tummy or back, loved being tucked with a wrap around her, and even let me lay her hands on her adorable cheeks. Since she was still doing so well at the end I had mom come in to work the camera button while I took a series of images to make a composite of her resting her head in her hands.

What a prefect session for this tiny girl and I loved getting to be part of these special memories. Welcome to the world, sweet Jacey!
