Nyra's Newborn Sneak Peek
I had the sweetest little girl in this week in tiny Nyra. She was tiny and oh so sleepy, which meant we were able to capture lots of precious newborn photos for her and her family during her big photography debut.
Her parents had requested lots of purples for Nyra, and mom also had a special request for a hanging floral swing prop. She sent me her ideas and I had just the prop to make it come to life! I used my wooden curved swing and set it up with hanging flowers along the ropes and kept it propped up on a stool so it was never in an unsafe position. Then I had dad be my spotter while Nyra was actually on the prop, and afterwards I took a few where dad held the empty swing above the ground so I had two images I could combine together. I LOVE how it turned out!
Nyra was a great sleeper and loved being in any position, wrapped or on her tummy. We were able to get several of her in a bucket, snuggled on a blanket, and then she was the perfect for taco pose on the beanbag with her feet tucked up under her chin.
We also captured several family photos with her parents and her grandmother who was in town from India. There was even a beautiful traditional Indian dress for a few at the end when Nyra woke up.
Overall it was a perfect session for Nyra and her family! I so enjoyed getting to meet everyone and hope to see this sweet girl over the next year to capture her milestones!
