Sweet little Katherine was a perfect angel during her 6 month baby photos. She wasn’t fully able to sit up unassisted quite yet, but was close enough with the aid of a pillow or bucket that we were able to capture some sitter images along with adorable ones of her laying on her back. Plus she had some great expressions just for mom and dad that were priceless!

I had the priveledge of photographing Katherine’s older brother for his 6 month and 1st birthday photos, so it was wonderful to see this family again and preserve these memories of their daughter. Katherine share’s her brother’s big blue eyes, so we made sure to capture those in pictures.

We kept the set up and backgrounds fairly simple but with a girly flare. She had one fancy dress that coordinated with the hanging rose background and Katherine was a champ sitting in the clear little tub. She wasn’t a huge tummy time fan, but she loved being on her back and finding the giant light.

I also pulled out the white lace curtains and we propped Katherine up around those with the boppy pillow, Her curious gazes and big eyes really popped with the simple setting and she even gave a very happy surprised face at one time I was lucky enough to capture.

We ended with a scene that we used for big brother, and Katherine sat in the clear tub again in her red onesie with big eyes just for her parents. She truly did a wonderful job for these special pictures and I so look forward to seeing them all again later in the year for the first birthday celebration!
