Mabel's Newborn Sneak Peek
I’ve been eager to meet this little one ever since we took mom’s maternity photos earlier this fall. Mabel was such a sweetheart, and while it took us a bit to find our rhythm for her photos, she eventually relaxed and we were able to capture so many wonderful pictures of her and her family.
Mabel’s mom requested some purple and fall colors for her session, and I had fun prepping some of my fall leaves, bringing out the pumpkins, and then coordinating with purple accents and wraps. Mabel also loved being wrapped, so we did a few different set ups with her either in my round basket on her back or snuggled in on a blanket.
She was also one hungry girl and needed some time to eat while she was here, which is always ok as I plan for possible feedings and don’t want to push a little one to take photos when they need to regroup with mom or family for a feeding. That did mean that she was awake for a few pictures with her brother and family, which is fun for me where I can take a few pictures with their eyes open.
Her brother was also such a great helper for sibling pictures while sitting next to Mabel and the twig bed or even giving her a huge hug on my big soft blanket. I can tell he’ll be an awesome helper at home!
Overall it was so wonderful to meet sweet Mabel, connect with her family again, and capture this precious time for the family. All those sleepless nights are worth it and I can’t wait to share this special sneak peek!
