Venice was a perfect little model during her big newborn photo session. She slept like a champ and truly loved the warm room which allowed us to capture so many wonderful images of her during this brief newborn age.

Her parents had requested lots of pastel and baby pinks with white for classic girly theme, but also asked to incorporate a little bit of fall. I have so many fun pumpkins that I have collected over the years, and it was fun to bring out the purple and white velvet pumpkins to add to the pinks to really make it a feminine fall theme.

Venice also had the cutest little pout that would appear at various times during our session and she made the tinest squeaks when I’d move her in and out of props or poses. She did such a wonderful job relaxing and sleeping away that I was able to adjust little fingers and change out headbands with ease.

Aside from the big props like the twig bed and buckets, we swaddled her up in a pink wrap and captured family photos with her parents. Those are always so fun to show just how tiny the newest baby is in mom or dad’s arms.

We ended with my bean bag flow with two fabrics, a pink and white textured knit, and Venice continued to snooze away. Her mom had also brought in a few special knit items like a hat, pumplin outfit, and a Christmas sleepy cap so I photographed those items at the end so they have lots of options for a fall birth announcement or even a Christmas card.
