I had so much fun with this family during their photo session last week! We had such a gorgeous evening to be outside taking pictures, with warmer temps and a beautiful sunset. Plus these boys kept the energy high and had everyone laughing, truly making some awesome memories.

We were at one of my favorite locations as it’s so beautiful there year round. While some of the fall colors were passed in a few places, we still had the pine trees for great family photos and there was a lone orange tree that we used for a few with just Dad and the boys. The younger kids had fun finding leaves and pinecones around the area and throwing leaves on their big brother.

We also were sure to snag pictures of mom with her boys, which I know are so special as us moms are typically behind the camera. They each got to sit and snuggle with her and they sure had some funny comments to my "tell your mom one of your favorite foods she cooks”.

After letting loose and having the boy gather leaves and throw them in the air, we ended with truly one of the most beautiful sunsets. We captured a perfect family photo against the clouds and then the boys goofed off while I grabbed a photo of just mom and dad. At the end, though, they surprised us by wanting one more photo, and I had all three boys stand and look at the sunset. Their littlest was so cute he turned around right as I was taking the photo, and I think that sneaky grin makes the whole photo.
