Dani had one special birthday bash in the studio this week! She was such a little ham, smiling and giving a scrunchie face, and she loved the pearl necklaces and the sounds they made clanging together. She also got a taste of cake and splashed at the end in the tub with some rubber duckies - it was a perfect way to celebrate her first birthday!

Dani had two adorable little dresses for her first birthday photos, and we started with on against the honey bee background. She LOVED swinging the pearls around and thought it was great fun, and she truly was one happy little girl while we got nice photos in the little chairs.

We then brought out the special cake which had adorable honey bees on it and a honeycomb pattern. Dani was very excited that we were excited and she did give it a fair try, but in the end she wasn’t sure about the whole sweet frosting or cake. She had more fun playing with the bees or just watching us clap (which was also adorable).

We ended by changing the scene to one of my other favorite backgrounds, the pink lemonade with crates. Dani splashed in the little white clawfoot tub and organized the yellow rubber ducks. She was such a good sport for all the birthday festivities and she kept her smile the whole time.

A very happy first birthday to this sweet girl! I had so much fun celebrating with you!
