Ellery's Newborn Sneak Peek
I had another little snuggler in the studio this week with little Ellery. She did a wonderful job during her big newborn photo session, and her parents requested fall accents and colors so I had a lot of fun pulling out my pumpkins, deep rose pinks and plums, and adding leaves to several of Ellery’s images.
Her parents shared that they had been to Ireland for their babymoon, and they had a few fun items with them from that trip to add to Ellery’s images as well as some custom items like a wooden plaque with her name and a fun fall tutu.
To keep with the fall theme, I opted to use the twig bed as I liked how the natural elements would add to the leaves and pumpkins. Ellery was a great model, letting me add headbands and props and then removing her tutu for a few pictures.
She also loved being wrapped up and swaddled, so we were able to capture a favorite image with her toes peeking out of the wrap surrounded by her parents hands.
Then at the end, we moved over to the beanbag where we kept with the rose pinks and purple accents to create a complete gallery of her with her tushie up, then curled on her side. She even was still asleep at the end to capture the chin in hands pose - plus went back to sleep afterwards again!
It was such a joy to be part of preserving these special memories for the family and I wish them a huge congrats on their new little girl!
