This family and ours are in so many activities together and our kids are in each others classes, that it was fun to spend time with them earlier this week and take these new family photos. The kids have been in Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts so I already knew them and enjoyed getting to capture their personalities and smiles with their parents on this beautiful fall evening.

We met at a local park and the leaves are just about at their peak right now, which made for beautiful backgrounds and golden leaves. The kids had fun exploring and taking turns with parents for pictures, and we also captured some of just the siblings together.

There is a great little trial down to an area with a little valley of sorts, so we headed over to where the trees are just magnificent for walking together, or just having those beautiful colors. The kids each got to sit on my tall stool for a few individual photos and even mom and dad had a few of just them - since when was the last time that happened?!

In the end I pulled out my blanket for a few of the family sitting among all the beautiful fall scenery and then the kids got to explore a little, so I followed and took photos of each child in their element. I think those turned out to me some of my favorites as they are each so true to the unique kid.
