Sophia's Georgia Peach Cake Smash

I’m so excited to share this special sneak peek today! I got to meet this sweet family a year ago after they adopted Sophia and we weren’t able to share her photos at that time. Now Sophia is turning one year old, and we continued with her newborn “Georgia peach” theme and added in flowers and a cake to truly celebrate.

Sophia was just as cute as I remembered and it is always fun to see how much babies have grown in a year and their little personalities. Sophia truly was a happy baby, dancing and bopping around, and she loved all the beads and flowers we had out for her photos. She also held a few peaches that I’d used during her newborn session and she gave the best smiles!

Check out this adorable newborn photo of Sophia and her Georgia peach theme a year ago.

We kept a classic white and flower theme for her, with pinks and peach colors to go with her pink tulle dress. Sophia did a great job sitting in the curved chair and even playing with some pearl necklaces. She couldn’t figure out if she liked wearing them, but was adorable just the same.

We ended her session with a cake smash, and Sophia sure knew how to eat cake! She enjoyed huge handfuls of icing and was very interested in trying out her birthday treat. She toppled it over a few times, making an adorable mess, then decided she’d had enough and was going to just crawl away. But we truly captured some fantastic photos of her both eating, playing, shoving, and leaving her cake.

A huge happy birthday to this sweet girl and I’m so happy that you get to share in this special day with your family!
