This little guy did a wonderful job sleeping away during his big newborn photo session. He had the best belly and chubby cheeks, and I so enjoyed capturing his sweet features for his family.

Theodore came into the studio when we was about a week old. He was already starting to get a big belly but did a fabulous job curling up during his newborn pictures. In fact, it didn’t matter if he was in his tummy on the moon prop or tucked in a bucket, he relaxed and slept away.

His mom had requested dark blue colors and a few with red, plus a very special image of Theo inside his dad’s hockey goalie mitt. I must admit I’ve never seen or held one of those mitt’s before, and it was so much bigger than I’d anticipated! But it was absolutely the perfect fit for Theo and he lay inside it so easily. What a great memory for his parents to keep as Theo grows over the years!

We also were able to capture great photos with his parents and I enjoyed getting to chat with them during Theo’s session. Theo was still doing such a great job toward the end of our time that we were able to do a second grey blanket on the bean bag plus have his mom help me out for that special “chin in hands” pose.

A very big congrats to this family on your new baby boy! He is so precious and I am honored to be part of preserving such special memories for you.
