I really enjoyed this sweet girl for her first birthday photos over the weekend. She is turning the big one year old, and we did a fun girly baby session for her with princess carriage, glitter letters, and then a pink and purple balloon cake smash. What a way to celebrate!

We started with some nice photos for the family, and Blake did a great job sitting next to the new gold glitter letters spelling out ONE and the pink princess carriage. She even stood up later and held onto the side, showing off those awesome standing skills.

She seemed more curious as to what in the world was going one, so even though I was warned about her crawling all over at home, she sat still during most of her photos. She was also sweetly stubborn with those smiles, but boy did she laugh and grin right at the end of her cake smash!

After our nice pictures in her sequin and tulle dress, we changed the background to the pink and purple balloons for her cake smash. She enjoyed licking the frosting off her fingers, hands, and arms, and I must say the cake smelled delicious. She also broke out into big smiles for her grand finale and I’m so glad we captured a few of her cute little personality shining through.

A big happy birthday to you, Blake, and I hope you get more cake to celebrate such a special memory.
