This adorable family braved the golden hour (which mean close to bedtime hour) with their three kids for some beautiful updated family photos. There were lots of smiles, snuggles with mom and dad, and we got several of the entire family all together on a gorgeous summer evening. And the kids were fantastic!

I had so much fun photographing this family as the kids were great listeners and all around wonderful little models for their family session. They did a great job trading off with parents so mom and dad could each get in the frame with their kids. Then they did a wonderful job posing for individual photos of each child.

This location was perfect for a family with littles, as there are several places close by that offer different looks and areas for photos. Little legs don’t have to walk far and aside from the one giant grassy (need I say enticing) hill, it’s easy for kids to walk to the different spots without getting too tired or running off.

This family sure made my job look easy as they played with their kids and overall just enjoyed being together. I love the mix of candids and kids being kids, as it’s a true reflection of life at this stage with young children.
