More to celebrate this week, as Princeton turned the big one year old! In fact, it was his actual birthday the day he came to the studio for his cake smash and pictures. He was such a precious little chunk and he had the best expressions while trying to figure out what was going on, plus was pleasant the entire time.

The tiny suit that his mom brought for him for the nice photos was simply adorable. It even had a pocket square that matched the bow tie! He got a kick out of me playing peek-a-boo from behind my camera and showed off all those teeth with his big smiles.

His mom had also brought several confetti balloons and festive balloon weights, and Princeton enjoyed looking at himself in the reflection and then playing around with the strings. He was so cute on the curved white chair and big mod chair with the balloon surrounding him!

We ended with a celebratory cake smash featuring a Little Baby Bum inspired cake. The very first thing Princeton did was decapitate the cow on top, and the tiger didn’t last much longer. Then it wasn’t long before he realized how amazing the actual cake and icing tasted and he was happily digging into the back and licking frosting it off his hands.

A very happy first birthday to you, Princeton! I had a blast celebrating with you and your mom and I hope the rest of your day was filled with more cake and balloons!
